This time we’ll be featuring nationally celebrated and critically acclaimed poets Moody Black and Tyrus Earls, alongside the always silky smooth Vasaboo Group and of course YOU on the Open Mic! Admission is ONLY 5 bucks and we promise it’ll be worth each and every penny, so grab all the Beautiful People in your crew and come thruuuu!!

Feature Bios
Moody Black
Moody Black is a TEDx performer, an ALL DEF POET, comedian, Smart Arts Teaching Artist, spoken-word and visual artist, actor, chess instructor, story teller, and photographer from Spartanburg, S.C.: Now, residing in Greenville, S.C. Moody Black is electrifying audiences across the country with his original poems and energetic performances. Fusing a blend of Hip-Hop, Soul, and Poetry, this talented artist delivers a unique rhythmic message in which each new listener finds common ground. Moody Black has been a performing artist since the age of twelve, and has become a prominent force on a multi-regional poetry scene through his enthusiastic live shows and strong work ethic.

Tyrus Earls
Tyrus is an acclaimed poet who has garnered a huge devoted following while performing in countless open mics and features, including The Soul Factory hosted by Spiryt the Tattoo Poet. Tyrus attends Clemson University, is currently in the Air Force, and is a force to be reckoned with both on microphone and the spades table!
