Koger Center for the Arts, ColaJazz Foundation and South Carolina ETV and Public Radio invite you to join us onstage for a tribute to Marian McPartland!

Join us in celebrating Marian McPartland, a jazz legend and the cherished host of SC Public Radio’s production of NPR’s “Marian McPartland’s Piano Jazz.” Despite her passing a decade ago at the age of 95, Marian’s influence resonates, and we invite you to an unforgettable evening. A jazz trio, her favorite ensemble, will perform her compositions and works by the jazz greats who shaped her musical journey.

Get ready for a night filled with swinging tunes and sultry ballads as we honor the enduring legacy of the beloved jazz icon, Marian McPartland!

This concert celebrates the 5-year anniversary of the Koger Center for the Arts’ “Live in the Lobby” series. Our lobby concerts began in March 2019 with a Live in the Lobby: Jazz celebration of Marian’s music in collaboration with ColaJazz and SC Public Radio. We are looking forward to celebrating more of Marian’s music with you again five years later!
