Dr. Robert Gardiner is the founder of the South Carolina Jazz Masterworks Ensemble and President of the South Carolina Jazz Foundation. He is a Professor of Music at Lander University. He has a Doctorate in Saxophone Performance from USC and a Masters in Jazz Studies from DePaul University in Chicago.
