FAQS
1) Will you play the movie’s score in its entirety insync with the film?
– NO. While that would be an amazing achievement, we simply do not have the budget to afford the preparations required. We will be playing the movie’s main theme(s) and some songs which are featured in the movie. We will also play jazz that is related to the movie either in style, by the same composer, historical significance and generally in some way poignant to the film of the evening.

2) How will I listen to both the jazz band and the movie playing?
– You don’t. The movie will have subtitles and muted. We want your attention on the aural art being created by the live musicians, while at the same time, casually enjoying the film playing behind us.

3) Can I just show up?
– Reservations will be required. It’s simple and easy. Give the Market on Main a quick call to reserve your space now! (803) 722-4222
