Eli Whitney never imagined food being servers in his cotton warehouse, but thats exactly what happen each day at the Cotton Patch. The old brick building on the historic Riverwatch in Augusta, cotton-exchange served as Whitney’s factory, warehouse and living quarters during 1793, when he invented the Cotton Gin. Also located next door is the old Cotton Exchange with was in essence, the wall street of the south.
