Painted Splo plays All Good Books
Painted Splo is an innovative group made up of Ben Eidson on sax, Andy Woodward on drums, and Will Pittman on guitar. The new music is the anti-theme and free improvisation. Ben has been schooled at the New England Conservatory, Andy tours with Toro Y Moi, and Will is a horrible worker in surreal guitar. This can be considered unmusical so musical. All Good Books is generous enough to provide a space for finding the edge of instruments grounded in a century of technique: jazz scope. This is a free event. The Cola scene in free jazz provides a chance to rub elbows with instrumentalists.
