“Having worked at the famed Dakota Bar and Grill in Minneapolis…arguably one of the greatest jazz clubs in the nation…I’ve always had a deep love and connection with jazz. In my early restaurant days in Columbia, we always had live jazz at Mr. Friendly’s, and it’s been years since I’ve had the opportunity to really do it right. Pairing up with Jack Daniel’s, which is known for their unwavering support of live music and ColaJazz for a series in the Bourbon Courtyard is simply the right time and place to do it.”
- Kristian Niemi, Bourbon
Expect the exciting sounds of Cuban, smooth, swing, funk, Gypsy jazz and more! Experience unique and delicious craft cocktails by Jack Daniels EVERY THURSDAY through June 30th!
"Part of the mission of the ColaJazz Foundation is to create opportunities for musicians to perform and make money, for audiences to discover the incredible talent living in and around the Midlands, and to serve our communities - especially those in need. This is a brilliant opportunity to accomplish all of this. The partial-proceeds will help us send musicians to the Lexington Medical Center Extended Care facility. Many of their patients suffer from dementia. As we know, music so often pulls these sweet souls back to a joyful consciousness and brings them peace and positive vibes. We couldn't be more excited about this limited concert series. We hope you can join us!"
- Mark Rapp, ColaJazz Founder & Executive Director
