This week we feature a hidden gem of an album by Dexter Gordon "A Day in Copenhagen"!

Recorded in 1969 on the German MPS label, this sextet date features an all star cast surrounding Dexter Gordon during his time in Europe. Accompanied by fellow ex-pats Kenny Drew and Art Taylor, this album is filled with arrangement by Slide Hampton of standards and blues. Amongst Dexter Gordon's entire catalogue, this is one not to miss!
