CRESCENT CITY VOODOO: A New Orleans Masquerade
Back by popular demand—and just in time for Halloween.
The Koger Center for the Arts and ColaJazz Foundation invite you to a special bonus edition of Live in the Lobby, where the spirit of New Orleans takes over for one unforgettable night.
Crescent City Voodoo brings the “NOLA to COLA” experience to life with the infectious energy of a New Orleans brass band—mixing traditional jazz, second-line grooves, funk, gospel and contemporary sounds into a celebration that refuses to sit still.
Expect incredible musicianship, irresistible rhythms, a little mystery and plenty of Crescent City swagger. Costumes and masquerade attire are encouraged.
Leading the revelry is trumpeter Mark Rapp, nationally recognized jazz artist and 2025 Jazz Journalists Association “Jazz Hero.” A former student of legendary New Orleans pianist Ellis Marsalis, Rapp has performed from the Blue Note in New York City to the Newport Jazz Festival and serves as Founder and Executive Director of the ColaJazz Foundation.
One night. New Orleans after dark. Jazz with a little voodoo in its soul.
