Sara Williams is probably the most authentic, charismatic, passionate, and entertaining jazz vocalist around! We are fortunate she calls South Carolina home. Sara has been a fervent supporter of the Columbia Jazz scene for decades. Performing, singing, and cultivating community is what Sara does! Simply put, she's awesome.

We’re making jazz more accessible. Due to changes in South Carolina’s venue insurance requirements, we have updated our format to keep the Loft Sessions sustainable and focused on what matters most: the music.
To keep our focus on paying artists (not insurance companies), we’ve lowered our ticket prices for the upcoming season. While tickets no longer include complimentary alcoholic drinks, a curated selection of beer and wine will be available for purchase. Tickets include: non-alcoholic drinks (selection of sodas, still water, bubbly & flavored water), a large grazing table (charcuterie spread), world-class concert, and atmosphere.
EVENT DETAILS
- $20 for ColaJazz Members, $25 for non-members, $10 for students
- Limited seating capacity to ensure the best experience

- Concert begins at 7pm ending at 9pm, 15-minute intermission at 8pm
- Doors open at 6:30pm

At the ColaJazz Loft Sessions, we specialize in the latter. Nestled in a chic loft high above Main Street, we have created Columbia’s dedicated space for the hip, the cool, and the curious.
Forget the crowded bars and the noise. This is an intimate listening room where the sophisticated ambiance meets a soulful atmosphere. With a rotating lineup of incredible talent, every month brings a fresh sound and a new story.
The catch? Seating is intimate and very limited to preserve the experience. The reward? An unforgettable night of culture and community.
