This week we feature a perfect musical offering from saxophone colossus Sonny Rollins, "The Sound of Sonny"!

Recorded in 1957 on the Riverside Label, this record find Sonny in a variety of settings. From a chord-less trio version of Jerome Kern's "The Last Time I Saw Paris" to his famous solo saxophone version of "It Could Happen To You", this is a must have in your collection. Joining Rollins is an all star cast including pianist Sonny Clark and bassist Paul Chambers. Get it!
