Jazz Album of the week

This week we feature an album by vocalist Johnny Hartman, "I Just Dropped By To Say Hello".

Recorded in 1963 for Impulse! Records, this was the 2nd of 3 albums he would record for the label following the success of his album with John Coltrane. Featuring a mix of tunes from Duke Ellington, Henry Mancini, and other lesser known standards, this album is a beautifully executed vocal jazz album. Get it!
