JAzz album of the week

This week we feature an album by saxophonist Zoot Sims, "Down Home"!

Recorded in 1960 on the Bethlehem label, this sessions swings from beginning to end. From tunes by Count Basie and classics such as "Avalon" and "Bill Bailey", Zoot and the band play on on cylinders from beginning to end! This is an important release in the Zoot Sims discography. Check it out!
