ColaJazz Foundation Awarded Grant To "Invigorate Cayce" Through Pop-Up Jazz Concert Series, Community Cleanup
The ColaJazz Foundation is launching the Invigorate Cayce Project to transform three neglected sites along the Congaree River—Art Lot, Kelly Jones Park, and Ms. Wright’s—into vibrant pop-up jazz venues.
This community-driven initiative, supported by the Connected Communities Grant, combines volunteer cleanup and minor site rehabilitation with free, world-class jazz concerts (starting December 2025). The goal is to revitalize overlooked public spaces, foster local pride, and use the arts to spur economic growth and community engagement in Cayce.
ColaJazz Foundation Launches Eboni Ramm Music Scholarship
The ColaJazz Foundation, with support from the SLW Charitable Fund, proudly launches the Eboni Ramm Music Scholarship. This program awards two high school students eight weeks of one-on-one lessons with top teaching artists to deepen their jazz skills. Named for the late Eboni Ramm—esteemed vocalist, educator, and community leader—this scholarship honors her lasting impact on Columbia’s jazz scene and education.
